I strode down the festive Champs Élysées, dodging aimless tourists and men toting large bags of gifts and other such rubbish. This is a very dangerous endeavor: walk quickly, then jump to the left, hop on the grating to avoid a group of old women with canes- FREEZE! Someone noticed something nice in the window. Thus proceeded my stroll down the avenue.
Reaching the Jardin, I enjoyed people-watching and naming the Greek-inspired statues scattered around the fountains.
Just beyond the garden (and the rough row of street peddlers who jingle their keychain eiffel towers aggressively) is a small arc de triomphe. This one you can walk underneath.
Then, unavoidably, I walked to the entrance to the Lourve. It was a beautiful location despite the tourists - so declares a tourist.
